She has a lot of corporate experience, mainly in negotiating multimillion dollar contracts as the buyer of domestic in-flight food and beverages for Trans World Airlines and then as a procurement manager for the New York City Transit Authority.

This woman knows her way around agreements and contracts and around the negotiating table! She knows people, communication skills, personality types… just amazing! Lorraine’s strength has always been creatively finding solutions to even the most complicated goal. In addition, Lorraine’s 26+ years as a professional fitness coach continues to add depth to everything she does!

I hired Lorraine a couple of years ago to be my personal coach, and then again this summer to be my business coach.

Lorraine can spot a narcissist the minute they come into view, and she knows, better than anyone I know, how to deal with them, extricate yourself from them, and learn how to avoid them. ALWAYS the consummate professional, her philosophy is “Give respect and expect people to rise to it.” She believes people will act as well as they are treated and goes out of her way to find ways to communicate that. I love that about her!

Yes, books, blogs and websites about dealing with difficult people, including narcissists, passive aggressive types and “toxic people” in general HELP. It wasn’t until I had Lorraine supervising me, interacting with me and my clients, and helping me see what I, as a “creative writer,” was doing and NOT doing, that contributed to my selecting so many problem clients. My “problem” always seemed to come down to communication, expectations and respect from and to me and the clients I worked with. I didn’t realize how to structure my business so everyone won. I was too busy giving myself away, feeling resentful for not getting what I needed, and not being able to be/do the best I could for ALL my clients! That’s all changed!

Unlike most consultants and coaches who operate out of the safety of their office and a calm setting, Lorraine wades right in, participating, listening, interacting and coaching in real-time! She would observe me in action, then coach me after the fact, or even during it with select clients. I LOVE IT!! I learn 1,000 times faster when I’m corrected or encouraged in the moment!

I have learned, and continue to learn, so much from Lorraine. She literally turned my business around! I have fewer clients, but they’re paying me more, appreciating me more and getting more from me! It’s a win-win all the way around!
